Please read these terms carefully before enrolling in any TimVeck training services.
These terms govern your use of TimVeck training services. By enrolling, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
1. Service Description
TimVeck provides IT Business English training services to tech professionals including developers, project managers, and IT teams. Services include one-on-one lessons, group training, curriculum materials, and related educational content.
2. Registration and Payment
2.1 Enrollment: Students must complete registration before accessing paid services.
2.2 Payment Terms: Payment is required in advance for lesson packages. Accepted payment methods will be specified during registration.
2.3 Pricing: All prices are listed in ZAR (South African Rand) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change for new enrollments but remain fixed for active students during their current package period.
3. Lesson Scheduling and Attendance
3.1 Scheduling: Lessons are scheduled by mutual agreement between student and instructor.
3.2 Cancellation Policy: Students must provide at least 24 hours notice to reschedule a lesson. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are forfeited.
3.3 Instructor Cancellation: If the instructor must cancel, students will receive a full makeup lesson at no additional cost.
3.4 No-Show Policy: Students who miss a scheduled lesson without notice forfeit that lesson without refund.
4. Refund Policy
4.1 Cooling-Off Period: Students may request a full refund within 7 days of initial purchase if no lessons have been completed.
4.2 Partial Refunds: After the cooling-off period, refunds are calculated based on unused lessons minus a 20% administrative fee.
4.3 No Refund After 50% Completion: Once 50% or more of a package is used, no refunds are available.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Materials: All curriculum materials, lesson plans, and teaching resources remain the property of TimVeck.
5.2 Student Use: Students may use materials for personal learning only. Redistribution, resale, or commercial use is prohibited.
5.3 Recording: Students may record lessons for personal review with instructor permission. Recorded content may not be shared or distributed.
6. Student Responsibilities
Students are expected to:
- Attend scheduled lessons on time
- Complete assigned practice work
- Maintain respectful communication
- Provide honest feedback for service improvement
- Use provided materials only for personal learning
7. Service Modifications
7.1 Curriculum Changes: TimVeck reserves the right to modify curriculum content to improve educational outcomes or adapt to industry changes.
7.2 Platform Changes: The delivery platform or tools may change with reasonable notice to students.
7.3 Pricing Updates: Price changes apply only to new enrollments, not active students.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Service Delivery: While we strive for excellence, TimVeck makes no guarantees about specific learning outcomes, job placements, or career advancement.
8.2 Technical Issues: TimVeck is not liable for service interruptions due to internet connectivity, platform failures, or other technical issues beyond our control.
8.3 Third-Party Platforms: We are not responsible for issues with third-party platforms used in our teaching such as video conferencing or file sharing tools.
9. Termination
9.1 By Student: Students may terminate services at any time, subject to the refund policy in Section 4.
9.2 By Instructor: TimVeck reserves the right to terminate services for students who violate these terms, display abusive or inappropriate behavior, fail to make required payments, or violate intellectual property rights. In such cases, refunds will be at TimVeck's discretion.
10. Dispute Resolution
10.1 Good Faith Resolution: Both parties agree to attempt good faith resolution of any disputes before pursuing formal action.
10.2 Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
10.3 Jurisdiction: Any legal disputes will be handled in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
11. Changes to Terms
TimVeck reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Students will be notified of significant changes via email. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
13. Entire Agreement
These terms constitute the entire agreement between TimVeck and the student regarding training services. By enrolling in TimVeck services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
